Note: This item was in my showcase at the mall where I also sell, and one flower has been chipped quite a bit since my photos were taken. I will at some point take photos to show. Thank you.
This is an incredible 19th century French gilt bronze ormolu candelabra with porcelain flowers and a faience porcelain Chinese foo dog. It is in excellent condition for its age with normal wear and tiny chips to some of the porcelain flowers which is typical, but nothing that detracts. This is from the David Copley estate in La Jolla Ca. He was a San Diego and Chicago newspaper publisher.
This piece is about 11" wide and 12" tall. It is quite heavy and the gilding looks great. It is a fantastic piece and these are not all that common. It has not been electrified like so many pieces of this era.
