Staffordshire Blue and White Creamer with Lawn Bowling Scene 1820s

Here we have a pearlware body staffordshire blue and white creamer of good size depicting a group of men having a game of lawn bowling. The pins are set up and one of them is getting ready to throw a ball. There is a nice floral transferprinted pattern on the neck of this London shaped creamer, dating from the 1820s.

Size: 4" to top of handle, 3 3/4" to top of spout. Length is 6' from handle to spout, 3" wide.

Condition: Excellent. Color is bright, print is clear. The glaze is smooth and shiny with no wear. No chips, cracks, or restoration.

Early period antiques are quite old and frequently have signs of age and use and sometimes a small manufacturing defect or repair. While this is normal and to be expected I note any known issues in the condition descriptions.
