Mans Art Deco signed Ostby & Barton 10K gold hematite intaglio cameo ring
*Ostby & Barton Company- Providence, Rhode Island. Established in 1879, one of the earlier East Coast jewelers with an interesting history. Ostby was an immigrant goldsmith from Norway who perished on the ill fated Titanic. He had a daughter, Helen, who survived. Ostby & Barton has enjoyed a renewed collectible popularity due to both the historical significance, and the high quality and craftsmanship of their goods. Ostby & Barton was a highly prolific manufacturer primarily of mans and women's gold rings. *Copyright Sunday and Sunday 2012. Text not to be reproduced or copied.
