This beautiful little lipstick case looks completely unused. It comes in its original box, and was made by Fratelli Coppini Silversmiths, of Florence, Italy.
The box is marked 'Coppini Silversmith, Florence', with an Italian address, and is rather fragile.
The lipstick case is marked '.800', and is hallmarked. The case features beautiful, elaborate engraving, on all sides, and what I believe to be a semi-precious stone forms the latch and slider mechanism. When the tube is pulled out of the case, a small mirror pops up, and reveals a smooth polished surface suitable for engraving a name, or small phrase. The hinge is tight, and works perfectly.
It measures 2 1/8" long, 11/16" square. I have polished it just a little, so as not to remove patina. The marks are seen in the last photo.
Please see my other listing for a matching silver comb case (SS-20), I will discount for the pair.
