Sugar Shaker 1908 American Glass
Sugar Shaker 1908 antique American glass made by Richards and Hartley US Glass Co. Sugar shakers are sometimes also referred to as sugar sifter or muffineer. This one is mold blown. The pattern is block and column, 24 center blocks beveled on the edges, alternating block with flower and blank block. On the underside is a flower with 16 petals, 4 elongated petals in each corner. Richards and Hartley, US Glass Co. Height is 4 1/2", shaker is cylindrical, 2 1/2" in diameter. The neck has a ring, shoulders are rounded with a slight slope. Top is heavy cast metal, original nickel silver finish with minimal wear. No dings or dents to the top. 5 point star pattern on the top. No chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. See photos.
