Butter Churn, clear molded and embossed glass, largest size being 6 Imperial Quarts. Signed Blow Butter churn, is English made, glass is heavy. Churn is 7" square, the corners are rounded, shoulders are sloped and the rim is molded smooth rather than ground smooth. Glass is clear and clean. The glass is embossed with 6 Imperial Quarts across the top. Centered on the front also embossed in oval is Blow Butter Churn 60 Made in England. See photos. The 2" wood handle has a straight arm attached by a peened metal rod. Note the two original aluminum paddles, not the light colored wood replacement ones commonly seen. Gear mechanism is covered in egg shaped metal encasement. Distinguishable and different from football shape used by Dazey. "Blow" is on either side, "British Regd 856612" on one side, dates it to circa 1948 -1949. Metal top has a 1 1/4" diameter punched style whey screen in the top. The bottom of the glass churn is embossed with "6/60" "LR292" and "UGB". Guaranteed old. NO damage.
