Whiskey bottle, Harry Wilken et. al. family business, 8" tall, molded clear, clean glass. In 1892 Harry Wilken Sr. entered into the distilling business. This liquor bottle is embossed with head portrait of it's found on the front and likeness of his facilities on either side. Post prohibition the bottle has Federal Law ......Sale or Reuse.... Statement. In script around the bottle of the bottle are the owners names; Harry Wilken Sr., Harry Wilken Jr. and William Wilken. All markings on the bottle are embossed, sides have wheat stalks extending from neck down to the base on both sides. 8" tall, NO Damage, clean inside and out, the bottle has been in storage, it is NOT from a dig or dump site.
We have a very large collection of very old glass bottles. They are mostly Back Bar Whiskey Bottles, Food Products and Drug-Store/Pharmacy bottles. These were all stored in wood boxes in the attic and barn of a old Vermont Country Store.
