Old Mr. Boston liquor bottle, NO Damage, clear molded glass bottle, portrait of trademark Mr. Boston on the front, full quart size, 11 1/4" tall, original metal twist off cap, with Old Mr. Boston logo. Bottle is embossed on four sides, marked on the bottom Design pat. Applied for 54-5. Unusual as it may seem, this company started as a candy factor. The Ben Burk Candy Company started in 1927 making nonalcoholic cordials during Prohibition. After Repeal they obtain a permit and license for distilled spirits. They built a still and began making gin. Old Mr. Boston was one of the first brand names. Bottle is clean inside and out, it has been in storage and is NOT from a dig or dump site. See last photos for some but not all of the bottles listed.
These old bottles are heavy glass, with proper packing they weigh between 2 and 3 pounds each.
