English Fly Fishing Reel With Reel Case
Fly fishing reel with reel case, for a Bamboo Fly Rod, Allcock trout reel, from Redditch, England. one of 45 fly reels to choose from, see last photo. Reel is 2 3/4" diameter, reel foot is unaltered 2 1/2" length, nice light weight reel that weighs 3 1/4 ounce. Reel is suitable for 3,4,5 weight lines. The reel is solid alloy with brass drum. The constant click is strong. The reel was buffed to a mirror finish and lacquered. Nothing bent twisted or dented, NO damage. Very good condition for an early 1900 fly reel. The reel has no maker's mark. This reel comes with a made in USA , soft lined Zippered case at no additional charge. Nice light weight reel and perfect for Bamboo Fly Rods. See photo.
