Nippon Two Handle Hand Painted Serving Dish

Nippon serving dish, hexagon shape, 6 1/4"in diameter, 7 1/8" handle to handle, height is 1 1/2". Turn of the century table accessory. Dish has backstamp blue M in wreath, #47. See photos. The porcelain is white with hand paint decoration. There is high relief gold leaf outlining and beading of flowers and borders. The 3/8" diaper is also gold leaf and beading. Molded open handles on either side. Some gold loss on handles from handling through the years. The flowers in the basin of the serving dish are hand painted. There is one in the center and a ring of interconnecting leaves and flowers on the interior sides of the dish. No chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs. See photos.
