Advertising Balance scale, hand held, made by Landers of New York. Size is 10 1/2" in length, face plate is 6" by 1 3/4". Circa 1900. Not the right one for you, we have 9 other Fishing Scales. Condition is excellent, completely original and functional. Weighs from 0 to 50 pounds and is fairly accurate. Many of these scales were sold for the fisherman to weigh his or her catch of large Trout or Salmon. The face plate states "Not Legal for Use in Trade" and "Landers Improved Balance No 2 New York".
