Serving Bowl, Nippon Noritake Hand Painted Porcelain, a large serving bowl, with two side handles pierced in relief and gold leaf. The hand painted flowers are pink roses and forget me nots, expertly done and very realistic. The porcelain is white, probably fired as a blank and then exported to the USA. Much of the porcelain hand painted in the US was not artist signed. The backstamp is Nippon #68 in blue, also identified as Noritake #15, NIPPON-NORITAKE which is also indicative of "blanks" shipped to the US. Circa 1906. The serving bowl is 9" in diameter, 10 1/4" handle to handle, height is 2 5/8". There is nothing like a beautiful hand painted bowl to offset a table. See photos. No chips, cracks, breaks or repairs.
