Antique Table Lamp by Pittsburgh Winter Scenic Obverse Painted Scenic Shade
Pittsburgh table lamp, winter scenic obverse hand painted, overall height is 20", 7 3/4" base diameter, 14" shade diameter. The signed Pittsburgh base, "PLB&G CO. 2034" is in excellent condition. There is no damage, chips, cracks or touch-up to the shade. The original finish on the base is in excellent condition. The original shade is milk glass, obversely hand painted. The winter scene is a 360 degree panorama of streams, farmhouses and a windmill. See photos. Winter scenes are considered a bit rare, for some reason there was not too many made. Now it has become very desirable. The colors are brilliant. The pairing of the base and the shade are original as when made and meant to be. The shade is a little soiled, it is being mentioned for accuracy. Most would not even notice. I am very critical with my descriptions and tell it how I see it. We have other quality antique lamps listed. The lamp has been rewired with silk wrapped cord. All or our antique lamps are originals. Lamp base and shade will be boxed and shipped separately. Insurance is $17 per box
