Lusterware Porcelain Luncheon or Dessert Set Service for 4
Luncheon or dessert set, service for 4, Lusterware porcelain, hand painted, made by the Takito Company in business from 1880 to 1948. This company specialized in luster ware. Set is marked on the bottom, double TT in diamonds. See photos. Set has tea pot, cream, sugar, four cups and saucers and service plate. Hand painted cottage lakeside with trees in the background, and white swan. Handles are gold leafed. Interior of cups and creamer are caramel luster. Individual service plates are 7 ¼" diameter, saucers are 3 7/8" diameter, 2 1/8" deep, with stylized bamboo gold leaf handles, saucers are 5 3/8" with cup wells.
