Nippon Dish Bisque Finish Hand Painted Landscape

Nippon dish, referred to as a fancy bon bon or olive dish, 6 7/8", 1 5/8" high. The interior of the bowl is molded in a "blown out" fashion on the sides. Backstamp is blue maple leaf #52. This mark differentiates porcelain body blanks with hand painted subcontractor factories items. Interior of the dish is bisque finish, asymmetrical hand painted pastel landscape. Soft yellow and earth tone colors. Dish has a brown border with blue and red enamel beading, scrolling and geometric design. The scene is a tranquil woodland with lakeside cottage, forest and mountains. The handles are applied and outlined with brown enamel beading. No damage. See photos.
