Vase Nippon porcelain, gold beading and hand painted Art Nouveau Flowers surrounds entire body of vase. Vase is urn shaped, has elongated neck, and applied angle arm handles. Stands 7 3/4" tall, the shaped bulbous body is elevated on pedestal base. The borders on the neck and body are hand painted. Gold beading outlines the borders of the flowers . It does not appear that the handles or top rim were ever gold leafed. I have sold this identical vase and pattern and it had extensive gold leafing. However, based on the detailing of the hand painted flowers and gold leafing this was either incomplete when it left the factory or it was a work in progress. The stylized flowers and leaves on the front of the vase are outlined in high relief gold leaf. NO chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. Backstamp is Nippon mark are #47 in green, circa 1900 -1912.
