Carved Italian Chair Urbino Courting Chair
A wonderful & delightful part of the past. The Italian Urbino chair. Completely hand carved in a dark wood during the early part of the 19th century. This type of chair was typically used in the foyer. This little chair is just so full of life & excitement. The carving is very exciting, crisp & finely detailed. The construction is great & the chair is very sturdy. The surface patina is so rich & mellow. Measuring 38 ½” High x 13” wide across the base x 12” wide across the seat x 14 ¼” depth of seat.
