Antique Limoges Porcelain Plate Bird

Interesting Limoges Game plate Hand painted & artist signed Louis. Large 10 1/2" diameter & in very good condition. The makers mark on the back is "Conte D Artois" with a crown & Limoges France. According to what I found in the encyclopedia of Limoges, it states that this particular mark with the inclusion of Limoges France is a rare find. This information is on page 428 in The Collectors encyclopedia of Limoges. I hope I have captured all the depth & detail of this magnificent bird, all I can say is that if you like it from the pictures, you will be knocked out to see it in real life, it really is a spectacular work of art!
