Art Nouveau Hofer Swiss Ladies' 14K Gold Watch Ribbon Band
Here is a stunning Art Nouveau period Hofer Swiss solid 14K gold, 15 jewel, engraved ladies dress watch with the original 14K filigree ribbon clasp and ribbon band. The watch case has an octagonal shape. THe inside of the case back is engraved "Diel W.C. CO. warranted 14K 180960." That is all machine engraved, there are also several serial numbers that appear to be hand engraved. The watch is marked 15 Jewels 2 ADJ Hofer Swiss on the inside. The front of the case in engraved with flowers or ferns. The case is 1" wide. The watch is in excellent condition.
