Hammersley & Co Bone China Dinner Plates Black, Gold Flowers
This is a set of four dinner plates by Hammersley of England. Hammersley apparently made many unnamed patterns, and this is one of them. The plates are white with two bands of black surrounding a white band decorated with gold flowers. There are also four bands of gold trim outlining the various sections. The edges are scalloped. The plates are 11" wide. They are in very good condition with no chips or cracks, but there are utensil marks and wear to the decoration. The backstamp is green. It reads "Bone China Hammersley & Co. Made in England."
