Erzgebirge Flat Bottomed Wooden Noah's Ark & Animals c1890
Here we have a delightful antique carved wood Noah's Ark with animals which are painted in a variety of bright colours.
The standing animals pictured are all perfect, the lying down one's are damaged.
This Ark has no woodworm or rot but has expected wear and rubbing to the paint commensurate with age as images clearly show.
The lid is hinged with the original fabric tape and the painted detail is really decorative.
It measures 15" long and is 6.5" high by 4" wide.
A lovely original wooden toy.
