Antique Pottery Floral & Hand Patterned Tea Pot Stand / Trivet - Oval Shape "Crown Devon"

On offer is this delightful antique teapot stand or trivet. It is in really good original condition overall, there is evidence of some light line crazing to the glaze, some paint loss on the top (green colour) and two firing flaws on the side rim which luckily aren't overly noticeable when displayed!)

It has an oval shape and decorated on the top with an orange coloured border (similar to blushed ivory) and a stunning hand painted centre motif which is simply superb and really does add a quality look to the item. The colours used are still bright and vibrant despite the wear to the green foliage and look great still. It has a gold coloured border rim which is still looking great considering its age.

The base is marked with a stamp which reads "S.F&Co Stoke on Trent England, Crown Devon RdNo554725".

It measures 18.5cm (just over 7 inches) by 16cm (just under 6.5 inches) in diameter and stands 1.5cm (0.5 inches).

It does have some age to it - certainly early 1900's.
