Silver Plated & Mother of Pearl Handled Fruit Dessert Cutlery SET - 24 Pieces - Silver Collars Dated 1919

On offer is this gorgeous 24 piece cutlery set comprising of 12 x forks and 12 x knives. All items are in really good condition overall, the silver plate shines up beautifully still. There are a few surface scratches here and there but nothing that detracts from the overall look. There is no evidence of wear or damage.

The forks each have three prongs and have such an elegant simple shape. The blades of the knives have a lovely border pattern and are marked on the back with "F.C&Co EPNS A1".

All 24 items have silver collars and these are all fully hallmarked with the lion passant indicating sterling silver, the crown for Sheffield and the date letter "b" for 1919. The makers mark is "F.C" which indicates this cutlery set was made by Frank Cobb & Co Ltd.

The handles are made from mother of pearl and look stunning still. There is no damage to them - they positively shine!

The forks measure 16cm in length (6.2 inches) and the knives 19.5cm (7.6 inches) - the perfect size for enjoying fruit and desserts
