2 Carp in Water with Flower W/C-Shinji Ishikawa

This is a fabulous watercolor of carp/koi fish in a pond with a floating flower. It measures 15 by 22 1/2 inches.It was done by Shinji Ishikawa around the 1960s.

It is in excellent condition. The upper right corner is chipped off and the edges have small tears here and there but that will be covered by a mat and frame.Ishikawa lived in Gardena , California and his address and the tile 'Carps" is on the back. The photos tell the story.
