Antique Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Punchbowl Kangxi Mark

Bell form porcelain bowl decorated on the exterior with continuous scenes figures and landscape. The interior center well with fruit cluster. Concentric circles in underglaze blue on underside. Small areas of tiny pitting on rim. Surface wear. 19th Century. 11" diameter.

This bowl, although very much like those made during the Kangxi reign (1662-1722) is a "Kangxi Revival" piece dating to the Guangxu reign (1875-1908). We give it this date based upon the style of painting, form of the mark and foot.
