A lovely late Victorian rose bowl in the Shell and Seaweed pattern by Consolidated Lamp & Glass Company c1899-1910. The top of the bowl is a deep bright sunny yellow (true in photos) and fades to a softer shade of pale yellow. It measures 18" around and stands 4 3/4" tall. The pontil mark at the base is present. In the photo where the bowl is tipped forward to see the inside, you can the quality of the opaque glass as the light shines through it. The inside is CLEAN. Overall Condition is Very Good with no chips, cracks, flakes or other physical damage. There a few light marks on the glass that I did not want to scrub for fear of ruining the glass - I only sprayed it down and gently wiped it. This is a STUNNING Victorian piece that will brighten any room! This bowl is referenced in Victorian Colored Glass Patterns by William Heacock.
