Lovely Italian Vintage Virgin Mary Double Sided Pendant or Medal Larger in Size Silver over Copper

This is a gorgeous religious pendant or medal of the Blessed Virgin Mother done in a Cameo Cut-Out design. I have seen only a hand full like this. A wreath surrounds a finely detailed image of Mary and she looks as if she is suspended in the wreath. The reverse side of the pendant/medal depicts the scene of the apparition of Our Lady to Bernadette at Lourdes. It is marked Italy on the back and there is a hallmark which I photographed close-up though I am not familiar with the maker. The pendant measures 1" in size. I polished it up with a cloth and after close inspection with a 20X loupe at the very edges I can see copper peaking through the silver plating. This is not noticeable with the naked eye but explains why a magnet does not stick to it. It will shine up brighter if you'd like it too but I know many of you like the natural patina on the metal. This piece is lovely enough to worn as a pendant on a silver chain. I have not seen one quite like it. It dates to c1950.
