Victorian Old Mine Cut Diamond Earrings

French Victorian (1880s) Old Mine Cut Diamonds (.40 tcw) in 12 karat earring mount and with 14 karat earring wire, both in yellow gold. These earrings are literally lighter than air. The diamonds are framed by wonderfully detailed metal work, adding to their beauty and history. The diamonds are fiery, which is only enhanced by the lovely patina to the metal work. Closed back with front to back ear wires that have a circular metal stopper keeping earrings in place. These stunners go from day to night seamlessly.

Dimensions 3/4" from top of wire (not including stopper) by 7/16" wide. Weight of earrings is 2.3 grams (1.5 dwt). Please note that stones have not been removed from their mounting, so all carat measurements are approximate. Earrings not marked, but test 12 karat and 14 karat.
