The baroque pearls in this pin are very beautiful which sets it apart from most Victorian pearl horseshoe pins. This brooch is also larger than usual and which makes is simultaneously delicate and bold. The brooch has a "C" clasp.
This brooch would look beautiful worn on a jacket or blouse but, with the addition of a bale and chain, would also make a gorgeous necklace.
