Gorgeous vintage designer signed Sterling Craft by CORO 1940's floral rhinestone brooch. The hallmark Sterling Craft by Coro is a rare mark -according to the Brunialti Book it is mark #6 and is a variant of mark #2 and was little used and mainly in the second half of 1942. This mark was used for about 6 months and not often. The brooch is a beautiful emerald green flower set with open back foiled rare square cut emerald green rhinestones with fancy bezel settings and accentuated with clear rhinestones. The stems are gorgeous sterling with a gold wash embellished with 3 of the green square cut stones. The center stone of the flower has an aqua cast to it (much more so in the photo than in person) but it appears to be the original stone.
The brooch measures 4" x 1.75" and is in very good to excellent condition. A rare beauty!
