A hard to find circa 1935 vintage depression era milk glass grease drippings jar made by McKee in the sailboats design. The tiny seagulls and wavy lines for water complete the simple and pleasing aesthetic that made this a popular line at the time and a desirable find for collectors today.
The lettering and graphics on this piece are strong and vibrant and the piece is in very good condition with a just a few utensil marks and scratches which are most noticeable on the lid. There are no chips, cracks or repairs.
Otherwise, expect nothing more than normal wear associated with age, use and handling and a couple of light scratches on the jar. This piece is approximately 2 1/2" high (with the lid on) and 4 1/2" in diameter.
