The letter is hard to read and could be any of the following: a lower case g or y; turn it around and it could be a lower case h or an upper case B R

It is marked 10kt Sterling and the manufacture Hickok; it's probably worth more in scrap than I am asking but I can't bear to destroy what somebody in another time made.
