Vintage and Unique Purple Petit Point Clip Earrings

These charming vintage petit point clip earrings appear to be handmade, but I cannot confirm without possibly injuring them, so I'll let you be the judge! Measuring approximately 7/8" in diameter, the needlework purple posy (perhaps violets?) bouquet is surrounded by a bi-color goldtone leaf mounting that appears to be the result of wear to the gold wash. A plastic disk protects the needlework.

The clipbacks, which are a very bright gold color (not visible in photos), are an older design and are secure and comfortable.

These earrings are lovely and unique and are certainly reminiscent of gentler times-the perfect gift for yourself or another!
