A exceptional and extremely rare antique 19th Century era bronze bust of a Persian, Babylonian, Assyrian or Mesopotamian King. Un-Signed / Un-Marked C. 1880-1900.

A wonderful bronze 19th Century bust in very good condition and purchased from a private collectors estate sale. The statue appears to be a classical presentation of nobility or a king. Ethical orientation may even be Middle-Eastern or Persian. Very nice artistic details and fine finishing to this wonderful heirloom bust that has formed a very nice green filligree over the years.

A beautiful and rare bronzed sculpture that will be admired and appreciated regardless of where you choose to locate him. A beautiful aged patina and a wonderful green verdigris has formed that only comes from age. A rare opportunity to own this wonderful sculpture. He will stand out in any Edwardian, Victorian, Italian, Roman Greek, Middle-Eastern or Classical themed decor.
