Magnificent Antique Bronzed Edwardian, Victorian or Art Nouveau Era Vanity Mirror C. 1820-1880

A magnificent example of art work from this early German foundry that produced decorative pieces for up-scale stores of their time. The intricate artistic detail on this wonderful mirror is amazing. Deep bronzed casting of wonderful acorns, berries, leaves, vines, scroll work and oval point accents with a great aged bronze patina. Dual tiered black marble or faux marble base. Dual turn key position adjustments to verso. Original red felted backboard with anchors (two of the anchors are a later addition and plastic - but can easily be replaced). Mirro glass is clear with no chips or silver loss at all (may have been replaced - not sure). Dual seating pins to base.

This magnificent huge mirror will compliment any room you display her in: bathroom, desk, vanity or table. Without a doubt - one of the most beautiful vanity mirrors we have ever come across. It is a stunning rare antique art piece that does not come around often and will attract her deserved attention no doubt. Literally a work of art. Condition: Excellent - Equisite Condition with no major damage observed. Only normal use, wear and age indicators commensurable with age at 100 + and possibly 150 + years. The marks on the back of the mirror are among the first recorded for E. G. Zimmerman who were in business as early as 1820. No major damage observed.
