Extremely Nice Tsuba, Mokko, Sukashi Style EDO Period With Display Frame

This extra nice iron Antique Tsuba from the EDO period, 1603 to 1868 has a wave and dragon design. This tsuba was purchased from Japan. The workmanship is very nice. Iron was much more difficult than copper to work and really shows the artists ability. This tsuba would be a great addition to any collection or a great starter piece. The tsuba is the guard for a samurai sword and any of these antique parts from the golden age of the Samurai are very collectable as works of art. This tsuba measures 2 5/8 x 2 3/8 inches and 1/8 inch thick. Very nicely made old work of art tsuba and comes with a Display Frame. Becoming very hard to find. Great unusual gift
