Vintage Shirley Temple Paper Doll

Presented to you is a beautiful and large, sturdy stand-up doll with hair. It is the Samuel Gabriel Sons and Co. Shirley Temple paper doll, number 304. The box says she is over two feet tall. She comes in a box that contains the original snap-ons that hold her clothes. She has "life-like" hair, ten colorful pieces of clothing and a large assortment of accessories. The doll bends at the hip to fit in the box.

The doll is quite pretty with the curly hair, brown eyes and the familiar dimples. She is wearing a lavender slip. She is in very good condition with minor bends on the wrists. However, she is thick board and very sturdy. She has places on her wrists and body to utilize the snap-ons. Not sure about the date of publication---1950's-1960's?

The box has dents, tears, and scrapes but, really, it too, is pretty sturdy. It measures 18 by 11 1/2". There is no stand.
