"The Iris" Stephen Brownlee, Limited Edition Print
This print is the last one in this extremely limited edition, and this last print is hand signed and numbered.
The story of this piece begins 25 years ago when the artist's mother planted the bulb at her home in Fairburn, GA. Over time, Stephen always admired the irises she planted and often dreamt of the perfect way to capture their beauty. Five years ago, he purchased her home and set his sights on fulfilling that dream. This image was painstakingly constructed in his studio, captured on film, and printed with a laser light jet printer on Fuji traditional metallic paper.
This piece is displayed in a 3" Jonathan Adler frame, with an acid-free mat and protected with UV acrylic.
Stephen Brownlee is a listed artist from Atlanta, GA. He attended the Atlanta College of Art and studied under John Sexton, the assistant to Ansel Adams. Brownlee currently resides in Fairburn, GA and teaches photography on a regular basis.
