Up for sale is a wonderful handpainted chocolate pot with a most unique, lovely mold. The finial looks to be an opening flower bud. The lid is held in place with two gold tabs. There is yellow and peach floral decor. I do not see an artist signature. The pot is about 9 1/2" to the top of the finial. It is marked with a molded flower or snowflake mark that is also used for some RS Prussia pieces. There is also a Lanternier mark #4 white wear mark in green that says Limoges France. This dates the piece from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. There is some gold wear and one itty itty bitty spot on the bottom rim where it looks like the glaze skipped - so tiny and was done in the manufacturing process. Any questions please ask!
