19th century oil on canvas by respected British land and seascape painter Gustave de Breanski "Boat Sailing Near Quay". Breanski paints his vessel listing in choppy water and looming storm clouds, but it is within reach of the pier. The white chalk cliffs of Dover can be seen in the distance.
