Fantastic porcelain clock set presenting the four seasons - all represented by a sweet cherub. It is profuse with various types of flowers in fantastically vibrant colors. The cherubs are decked with wreathes, robes and accompanying items relating to their respective season. The shape and form is embellished with gilded contours and accents. All work is hand-painted and exquisitely detailed. Renown for highest quality, this Meissen clock delivers dazzling color and impeccably delicate craftsmanship. Clock is working and has an 8 day movement with a lovely chime.
Clock set includes a pair of matching candlesticks.
Piece bears the 19th century mark of Meissen's blue crossed swords. Condition is great. No repairs or brakes, only typical chips to flowers and couple of original fire cracks. Movement: replaced key, pendulum and bell, door is open by 0.5" due to position of the bell.
