Paul Holmes Watercolour "Rural Farm Scene"

The watercolour is 14" wide x 10" high. With the frame the dimensions are 24" wide x 19" high. The watercolour is in excellent condition and has no cracks or scratches. The glass and wooden frame are also in excellent condition and show no defects.

Paul Holmes was born in a rural part of County Antrim Northern Ireland and still lives there close to Antrim Town. Abandoning a successful career in Management, he soon began to develop his talent for painting and phototgraphy and is now a full-time professional Artist. Specialising in watercolours, Paul draws his inspiration from the diverse images of the Irish countryside both north and south and, having the ability to recognise quickly the making of a good picture, his sketch pad and camera are constant companions.

Knowing from experience the benefit of formal training, he is now involved in teaching others. His talent for communicating his skills, combined with good humour and ready wit, make his art classes attractive for a variety of students. Paul's work is on display numerous galleries across Ireland.
