EARLY AMERICAN PATTERN GLASS
Offered is a lovely ruby-stained toothpick holder manufactured originally by Greensburg Glass Company, 1893, and later by McKee Glass Company, 1901.
The pattern's original name is CORONA but it has also come to be known as SUNK HONEYCOMB. The toothpick holder stands 2 1/4" high with a 1 7/8" rim diameter.
It is pictured on page 89 of "Glass Toothpick Holders" by Neila & Tom Bredehoft and Jo & Bob Sanford.
There are no chips, cracks, or repairs.
EAPG usually exhibits some of the following: straw (sheer) marks, mold lines, bubbles, embedded ash or impurities, rough mold seams, and manufacturing variations.
