Antique Salt & Pepper Shaker Pink Cased Glass Double Leaf by Dithridge 1895
I am pleased to offer this lovely pressed glass salt and pepper shaker set. It was manufactured by Dithridge & Company from 1895 to 1901. The pattern is known as DOUBLE LEAF or LEAF DOUBLE.
The shakers are cased glass in a lovely opaque pink color with a clear outer surface. They stand approximately 3.75" high and the base is about 2" square. The lids are mismatched and quite shabby.
The shaker is shown on page 164 of "Glass Salt & Pepper Shakers of the 19th & 20th Centuries" by Richard A. Davis.
There are no chips, cracks, or repairs.
