24% Lead Cut Crystal Whisky Tumbler Glass

Fine quality 24% leaded crystal hand cut whiskey or juice tumbler. I believe this to be the "Buckingham" pattern (discontinued) by Zawiercie, which features cut fans and diamonds, and a starburst flat base. The base is heavy, and the glass has an overall nice heft and balance to it. Perfect size for whiskeys, juice, or waters.

The tumbler is 3 1/2" tall and has a 2 3/4" diameter, and is in excellent condition. There are no chips, nicks, or cracks, and still has the original clear-label with gold lettering : Genuine Hand Cut Zawiercie 24% Lead Crystal Poland.

Hand made by Zawiercie, one of Poland's best known, and oldest established glass makers. In 1884, S. Reich and Company took over the existing Zawiercie factory and upgraded it into a modern industrial plant. Fine glass is still being made there today.
