Antique Sheffield Pewter Hammered Basket AM & Co
Unusual antique pewter basket made by A. Milns & Co of Sheffield, England. The company was in business between 1920-1926.
The entire piece is hand hammered and is a dark grey color. The oval base is 10 1/2" to the longest end, and 8" wide at the handle. The height from base to handle is 6 1/4". Marked on the bottom with A M & Co, English Pewter 134.
It is in very good condition for it's age. There is a discoloration at the top of the handle where the two pieces are joined. Please let me know if you would like to see more pictures.
