Theo Haviland Round Covered Limoges Blank with Schleiger 160 pattern Set Parabčre 1893

Antique round covered casserole by Theo Haviland has a delicate floral pattern of creamy chrysanthemum flowers with lavender and tan highlights and blue-gray flowers on green stems. It appears to be a Schleiger 160 type pattern.

There are gold accents on the bowl handles, the rim and base, with some some wear. The bowl is in good condition, but does have two chips on the rim (see picture). There are also two chips on the bowl base rim. It is marked Theo Haviland Limoges FRANCE Set Parabere Patent applied for, all in a green underglaze. This mark was used in c.1893. The bowl is 8 3/4" wide, 10 1/2" handle to handle, 2 1/2" tall.

The handled cover showcases the detailed florals and gilding and is in very good condition with no rim chips and a very minor chip on the handle that is barely detectable. It is marked Theo Haviland Limoges France Set Parabere patent applied for. This mark was used c.1893. The lid is 8 1/4" round with a scalloped edge. Total height from bowl base to lid handle is about 4 3/4".
