American Empire Classical Diminutive Rosewood Sofa

A circa 1820-30 scaled-down Empire classical rosewood sofa attributed to the workshop of Boston, Massachusetts cabinetmaker, Isaac Vose. Typical of Vose's classical sofas are the high crest volute scroll back, scrolled volute arms and lotus volute feet. The sofa is upholstered in a faded celadon Chinoiserie fabric and has nylon replacement casters. It is offered for sale as-is in good vintage condition. It measures 78"w. by 24"d. by 32"h.
