A beautiful early 20th Century (1900-1920) hand-carved solid mahogany and veneers Gueridon in the French Empire style with a six-sided pedestal embellished with three hand-carved Napoleonic Swans resting on lion's paws. The finish is hand-rubbed and the black marble top is embedded with tiny sea fossils. There is a fine fissure that extends the diameter of the marble top. It appears to be part of the original marble. The measurements are 32" diameter by 29" high.
The table is heavy and must be shipped by professionals who handle quality pieces. I have the name of one local shipper who handles shipments for the local auction houses and antiques dealers.
