A pair of mid-19th Century unmarked (a hand-painted #176 is on the back of each plate) Ridgeway porcelain cabinet plates with hand-painted river scenes. There is surface wear to both plates; one has a chip on the underside which doesn't show from the front, the other has two chips on the underside; one of the chips has a 1/2" hairline down the center which is hardly visible from the front. Each measures 8.75" in diameter.
